My Skin Clinic – Terms and Conditions
To ensure the highest quality of care, please review and adhere to the following terms and conditions when booking an appointment at My Skin Clinic.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
We require at least 48 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee of £25.
Clients who frequently cancel late may be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure future bookings.
Non-Attendance Policy
Clients who do not attend their appointment without prior notice will be recorded as a non-attendance.
Non-attendance will result in a £25 fee, which must be paid before making any future appointments.
After two instances of non-attendance, clients may be required to pre-pay for any future bookings, or we may decline further appointments.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to carry out your treatment, and the appointment may be classed as a non-attendance.
Late arrivals will not receive extra treatment time, and the full session fee still applies.
Emergency Cancellations
We understand that emergencies happen. If you are unable to attend due to illness or an urgent situation, please contact us as soon as possible.
In genuine emergency cases, the cancellation fee may be waived at our discretion.
Payments, Deposits, and Refund Policy
Payments
Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed.
We accept payment by cash, debit/credit card, or through our online booking system.
Deposits
A £50 deposit is required to secure your appointment, unless otherwise agreed.
Deposits are deducted from your total treatment cost on the day.
Deposits are non-refundable if:
You cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice
You fail to attend your appointment
4.3 Refunds
Refunds are not issued for completed treatments.
Packages or prepaid treatment courses are non-refundable once started, but may be transferred to an alternative service of equal value at our discretion.
If a treatment cannot proceed due to medical or other valid reasons (disclosed in advance), a refund or credit may be considered at the clinic’s discretion
Discounts, Promotions & Vouchers
Discounts, promotional offers, and vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount, unless explicitly stated.
Promotions apply only to full-price treatments and are not valid on treatments already discounted or part of a package deal.
Vouchers must be redeemed within their stated validity period and are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
Some promotions may have specific terms and conditions which will be provided at the time of purchase or offer.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw any discount, promotion, or voucher offer at any time without prior notice.
Packages
Treatment packages (e.g., courses of 3, 6, or more sessions) must be paid for in full at the time of purchase, unless agreed otherwise.
All treatment packages are non-refundable once the first session has been redeemed.
Packages must be used within the following timeframes from the date of purchase:
3-session packages: valid for 4 months
6-session packages: valid for 8 months
8+ session packages: valid for 12 months
Expired sessions will not be carried forward or refunded.
Extensions may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the clinic’s discretion (e.g., medical reasons).
Requirements Prior to Treatment at My Skin Clinic
To ensure your safety and the effectiveness of your treatment, we kindly ask that you:
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin (for facial treatments).
Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds, and fake tan on the treatment area for at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you are currently taking during your consultation.
Avoid using active skincare ingredients (e.g., retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid) in the area to be treated for 48 hours prior to your appointment, unless otherwise advised.
Inform us of any recent procedures or treatments, such as injectables, laser, or peels, that may affect your service.
Follow any pre-treatment advice specific to your treatment, which will be provided at the time of booking or consultation.
Failure to follow pre-treatment requirements may result in us being unable to proceed with the treatment, and fees may still apply.
Suitability of treatment
All treatments are subject to a full consultation and assessment to determine suitability.
We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment if:
We believe the treatment is not suitable or safe for you
You have contraindications or have not followed pre-treatment advice
You display inappropriate, aggressive, or abusive behaviour
You are pregnant or breastfeeding (depending on the treatment)
If treatment is refused for clinical or safety reasons, your deposit may be retained to cover consultation time and administration.
Client Responsibility and Liability
Clients are responsible for providing honest, accurate, and up-to-date medical and personal information before undergoing any treatment.
It is the client’s responsibility to follow all pre- and post-treatment advice provided by the clinic to ensure the best outcome and reduce the risk of complications.
My Skin Clinic will not be held liable for any loss, injury, or adverse outcome resulting from:
Withholding relevant health information
Failure to follow aftercare instructions
Use of unauthorised or conflicting skincare or treatments
Delayed reporting of reactions or concerns
Individual response to treatment, including failure to achieve desired results
By proceeding with treatment, clients acknowledge that results vary between individuals, and no guarantees are offered or implied regarding the outcome of any treatment.

These will only be taken with your prior written consent.
You have the right to refuse photography or video recording at any time.
Images/videos will be stored securely and used in accordance with data protection laws.
Any images or videos used for marketing will be anonymised or used only with your explicit permission.
If you consent to photography or video and later wish to withdraw permission for marketing use, please notify us in writing. Previously used materials may not be fully retractable.
Any requests or communications involving third parties (e.g., family members, agents) regarding your appointments or treatments must have your explicit prior consent.
We reserve the right to charge an administrative fee for managing third-party communications or requests.
My Skin Clinic has a strict no photography or video recording policy within the clinic premises.
This policy is in place to ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of both clients and staff.
Unauthorised photography or video recording by clients or visitors is not permitted and may result in termination of treatment or removal from the premises.
We will never share your personal treatment information with third parties without your explicit permission, except where required by law.
